Bath Based Distance Learning

The Bath Training Team started running distance learning classes in parallel with their RSGB Bristol sponsored classroom sessions a few years ago. This initiative has grown to the point where the team now has twelve tutors across the country and nearly two hundred students have been enrolled, many passing the exam first time.

RSGB AGM 2012 - M0OBW presents Kenwood Trophy to the Distance Learning Team

At this year's RSGB AGM the team were awarded the Kenwood Trophy for 'outstanding contribution to amateur radio training'. Morse Certificate of Competency

The RSGB runs a competency testing and certification scheme to encourage progression in Morse learning even though it is no longer a licensingrequirement. The Bristol RSGB Group now has two Approved Morse Assessors who are authorized to carry out assessments on behalf of the RSGB (G3TKF and G3XSV). Here are some new certificate holders with Trainer Steve G0FUW, and Approved Assessor RobinG3TKF.

Shirehampton ARC courses

Shirehampton Amateur Radio Club has been running Foundation License coursessince 2002 and they now also offer Intermediate coursed to those who wish to progress to the next level.
